This was such an interesting story. Very well researched and clearly presented to show how important this case was in influencing history. And we see it repeating again!
I have been to New Caledonia 4 times, and visited the old prisons. Can’t believe they opened up Papillon again just for Dreyfuss as New Cal was too nice!
I’m off to France again on Tuesday, once all my school reports are written. Very excited, (but not about the long flight- New Caledonia is only 3 hours from Eastern Australia).
